Job summary

FriedRice Entertainment (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a proactive Senior Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure timely, reliable financial reporting. You will maintain full sets of accounts, support month-end and year-end closings, and work with auditors and tax authorities.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic Finance/Operations team.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including full set of accounts and closings.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full set of accounts and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing with reconciliations and schedules.
• Review financial transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process supplier payments and employee reimbursements accurately.
• Manage intercompany transactions and regulatory reporting (GST/SST).
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and regulators on accounting matters.
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc financial analyses.
