Job summary

DRB-HICOM Berhad is seeking an Accounts and Finance Executive/Senior Executive to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting. You will handle AR/AP, GL entries, bank reconciliations, and assist with monthly to year-end statements.

You will also monitor payments, assist in audits and tax, and help budget and cash flow processes. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related field.
ACCA/CIMA/MICPA is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
Exposure to manufacturing or project-based accounting preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP.
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting tasks including AR, AP, GL entries, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
Monitor vendor invoices, staff claims, and reimbursements; manage collections and ageing reports.
Support audit schedules and tax computations; ensure SST compliance.
Assist in annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
Maintain organized financial records and support ERP system improvements.
