Job summary

Public Mutual Berhad invites applications for the position of Deputy Head of Finance & Fund Administration to lead finance, fund accounting, and fund operations, shaping financial strategy and ensuring compliance across regulatory and reporting standards.

You will oversee budgeting, cash flow, forecasting, risk reporting and lead stakeholder relations, guiding mid-to-large teams and collaborating with auditors and tax agents.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CPA/Degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 20 years of working experience in relevant field, including minimum 10 years in financial industry.
• Working experience in asset management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review overall management and operations of finance, fund accounting and fund operation functions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Review risk management reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, accounting standards and internal policies.
• Maintain good rapport with auditor, tax agent and other stakeholders.
