Job summary

TMF Administrative Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Fund Operations Officer to manage daily administrative tasks and transaction activities for investment portfolios in a busy financial services environment.

The role focuses on processing trade settlements, monitoring cash positions, maintaining accurate transaction records, and liaising with custodians, fund managers, and auditors to ensure smooth operations and timely client delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree/ Professional Certificate in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
• Candidate with accounting knowledge and experience is an added advantage.
• Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative tasks and transaction activities for investment portfolios.
• Process trade settlements and payments for unit trust funds accurately and promptly.
• Monitor account balances to ensure sufficient cash for settlements and payments.
• Input and maintain transaction records within the fund accounting system.
• Support team to uphold service excellence and ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Liaise with local and international custodian banks, fund managers, tax agents, and auditors on operational matters.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Handle client enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job description

Input and maintain transaction records within the fund accounting system.

Support team members to uphold service excellence and ensure timely delivery to clients.

Liaise with local and international custodian banks, fund managers, tax agents, and auditors on operational matters.

Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

Handle client enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree/ Professional Certificate in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field

Preferably with working experience in fund management company or trustees company

Candidate with accounting knowledge and experience is an added advantage

Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

Meticulous, independent and ability to adapt to an ever-changing priorities
