Confidential in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Finance Leader to oversee the bank’s financial strategy, reporting, and control environment. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to drive sustainable growth, value creation, and robust risk management.

The role requires leading a Finance function, ensuring regulatory compliance, governance excellence and strategic decision support. Strong leadership, integrity and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a recognised accounting qualification and/or a relevant degree.
• Extensive finance experience in banking/financial services with senior leadership exposure.
• Experience in financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, financial control, regulatory compliance and enterprise-wide management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environment, standards, risk, governance for financial institutions.
• Ability to translate financial insights into strategic business recommendations.
• Executive presence, commercial acumen and stakeholder management with the Board/CEO.
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity with prudent balance of commercial objectives and risk.
