Job summary

ECO Group of Companies in Puchong, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage the daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy across the full set of accounts, AR/AP/GL, and bank reconciliations. You will prepare monthly financial reports, assist with tax matters and audits, liaise with banks and auditors, and ensure compliance with MFRS and IFRS.

Ideal candidates have a degree in business or finance, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in IFCA software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, exposure to construction industry is relevant.
• Competent in closing a full set of accounts.
• Experience with IFCA Accounting Software is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and IFRS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Detail oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle the company’s daily accounting and finance operations, including full set of accounts.
• Manage AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle and maintain invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and relevant financial analysis.
• Assist with tax matters, audits, and preparation of relevant financial documents.
• Monitor and follow up on AR and AP to ensure timely collection and payment.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure accounting records comply with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
