Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience handling full set of accounts and multi-currency transactions.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and ABSS (MYOB).
• Knowledge of project accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including General Ledger, AR, AP and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee daily accounting functions: transaction recording, journal entries, invoices, purchase orders, records maintenance.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts and schedules.
• Monitor accounts receivable, debtor aging and collection follow-ups.
• Process accounts payable, verify supplier invoices and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for decision making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and regulators.
