Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an accounting professional in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to manage the full set of accounts and oversee daily operations ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. You will handle GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and close processes, while preparing management accounts and schedules.

The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy with 2–3 years of experience, proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, and knowledge of QuickBooks/MYOB (ABSS).

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience handling a full set of accounts and multi-currency transactions.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including General Ledger, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee daily accounting functions: recording transactions, journal entries, invoicing, purchase orders, and record-keeping.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and schedules.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on collections; process accounts payable and supplier payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
