Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to support analysis methods, design test fixtures, and drive yield improvements across manufacturing processes.

The role interfaces with product development, engineering, and factory teams to resolve failures and improve product reliability. The candidate should have a strong background in electronics, PCBs, and manufacturing, with experience in FMEA/DOE and reliability engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic major or equivalent education.
• 8+ years in engineering, with 5+ years in manufacturing technical engineering.
• 3+ years in technical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and evaluate electronic components or circuitry for devices.
• Develop, maintain, and test software for testing and improve coverage.
• Lead Failure Analysis testing, RCAs, and prevent actions.
• Coordinate WIP turnover for daily production.
• Provide training to FA technicians and lead a team.
• Serve as liaison between supplier, design, and factory.
• Support NPI and new derivative parts introductions.
