Job summary

NCS Solutions in Penang is seeking a trained engineer to support central lab failure analysis across local manufacturing. The role involves operating advanced equipment in an ESD environment and applying FA techniques to meet service levels.

You will own equipment development and proliferation to users, perform failure analysis tasks, and work on cross-training to build a self-sustaining cluster team while managing multi-task operations.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree/ Advanced Diploma/ Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Chemical, Physics, and any relevant discipline.
• Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
• Must be good in mathematics.
• Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations.
• Well-disciplined, fast learner and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex equipment and analytical tools in ESD environment.
• Operate and use central lab support, FA techniques to satisfy FA needs.
• Take ownership of equipment development and proliferation to users.
• Perform failure analysis tasks using state-of-the-art devices.
• Maximise output using constraint management techniques while maintaining processes and training cluster members.
