Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer to own CDA, PVAC, exhaust, and HVAC systems across build, commissioning, and operation. You will integrate with BMS, drive energy efficiency, and support AI-enabled optimization within a fab setting.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities engineering, strong thermodynamics and rotating equipment knowledge, and the ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams in a high-purity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in mechanical/facilities engineering for high-purity environments.
• Experience with compressed air, vacuum, exhaust, HVAC, and cleanrooms.
• Ability to support shift, weekend, or emergency work when required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mechanical utility systems lifecycle from build to operation.
• Lead commissioning, FAT/SAT, and hand-over with turnover packages.
• Develop PM/PdM strategies and manage OPEX budgets.
• Collaborate with contractors and OEMs; ensure safety and compliance.
