Job summary

Bosch Group in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead the Global Real Estate and Integrated Facility Management for the site.

The role requires 15+ years in facilities/engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership and a strong track record managing major projects. You will drive cost efficiency, sustainability, and digitalization initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of facilities management or engineering experience, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• 5 years managing large facility, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong English communication and presentation across all levels.
• Able to lead cross-functional teams, contractors, and authorities; skilled in negotiation.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and building infrastructure systems.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale expansions, renovations, and upgrades.
• Expert in diagnosing issues with systematic approaches (FMEA, risk, RCA).
• Focus on cost efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations and integrated facility management.
• Manage budget and long-term plans for FCM department.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health standards.
• Lead projects from planning to commissioning (expansion/renovation).
• Collaborate with CST/Cluster and external contractors.
• Develop Industry 4.0 and digitalization ideas within FCM.
