Job summary

Sunway Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Manager – Facilities Management to lead and oversee operations of a mixed-use development, driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. You will manage M&E systems, smart automation, and lifecycle planning.

The role requires at least 10 years in facilities or property management, with 2 years in a leadership position, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as CIDB Certified Facility Management Manager, BOVAEAP Registered Property Manager, IWFM (UK), IFMA, or equivalent are highly regarded.
• At least 10 years’ experience in facilities or property management, with 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead FM operations for a mixed-use development, including M&E, architectural and civil components, and smart automation.
• Develop and execute facilities management strategies aligned with standards and goals.
• Prepare and manage annual FM budgets (CAPEX and OPEX) and oversee procurement planning.
• Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs; drive performance dashboards and continuous improvement.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance locally and internationally; conduct audits.
