Job summary

Quintus Search is seeking a Senior Export Sales Manager to drive growth in regional markets and hit annual targets from its base in Malaysia. You will lead collaborations with distributors, meet clients, and guide customer service, planning and logistics to ensure timely shipments.

Travel across long distances is required to attend exhibitions and grow opportunities, while leveraging industry knowledge to build credibility with customers and negotiate favourable export terms.

• Background in marketing, sales, business administration or management.
• Extensive export sales knowledge in FMCG preferred.

About the job Senior Export Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities in the regional market and achieve assigned sales targets as per annual objectives.
• Establish/build effective relationships with distributors in the assigned export market.
• To meet with clients to support and grow sales volume.
• Provide leadership and guidance to our customer service, planning and logistics teams to ensure that customers receive their appropriate shipments.
• Attend international exhibitions/tradeshows and meetings.
• Work to develop new business and growth opportunities.
• Investigate new sales opportunities and actively solicit business from potential customers.
• Utilize in-depth industry knowledge to build credibility and become a trusted advisor with customers.
• Knowledge of the details of the export business to ensure that government policies, labelling systems, transportation and payment laws are followed.
• Negotiate and monitor export rates and services to reduce operating costs and increase profitability.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints and look to find winning solutions.

Requirements:

• An educational background in marketing, sales, business administration and management.
• Experience: Prior export sales experience of at least 7 years preferably in FMCG industry.
• Dynamic, confident, self-motivated candidates wanted for this role.
• Should have passion and flexibility to travel long distances.
