Qualificações

About the Role

The Senior Executive, Technical Sales drives sales growth and manages customer relationships within the Specialty Chemicals Industry (SCI) business line of DKSH's Performance Materials business unit in Malaysia. This role makes a direct commercial impact by expanding existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering strong technical and after-sales support that deepens customer trust and loyalty.

What You Will Deliver

• Grow existing business within the Specialty Chemicals Industry (SCI) segment and provide strong after-sales support to sustain and strengthen customer relationships
• Explore new markets and proactively identify and develop new accounts to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth
• Promote and manage a range of assigned products across designated territories to achieve sales forecasts and budget targets
• Handle customer enquiries, conduct field visits, and deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations that clearly communicate product value
• Conduct systematic market mapping and gather and disseminate market intelligence to inform sales strategies and business planning
• Submit regular reports in the required format covering sales activities, pipelines, sales strategies, performance outcomes, and planning against nominated targets
• Manage assigned client accounts as the primary point of contact, ensuring responsive, professional, and effective relationship management
• Lead product development initiatives within the SCI team to strengthen portfolio relevance and market competitiveness
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant technical sales or specialty chemicals environment
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, competitors, and customers
• Advanced knowledge of sales and marketing principles with a demonstrated ability to apply them effectively in a technical sales context
• Advanced research and analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into effective commercial strategies and actions
