Job summary

APM CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD in Port Klang, Selangor, seeks a Senior Executive, Human Resources (Industrial Relations) to lead disciplinary processes, coordinate DI panels, draft letters and advise management on IR matters. The role requires strong knowledge of IR laws and excellent communication.

You will liaise with authorities, ensure documentation, and drive IR policy compliance across the organisation. A Bachelor's in HRM or Law with 4–6 years in HR is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 4–6 years in HR with strong IR exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end disciplinary process (show cause, investigation, DI, decision).
• Conduct and coordinate Domestic Inquiries as panel/secretariat.
• Draft disciplinary letters (warning, suspension, termination).
• Handle employee misconduct, absenteeism and IR issues.
• Liaise with authorities (JTK, Industrial Court, union).
• Represent company in JTK IR office for dispute resolution.
• Investigate employee grievances and provide advisory to management.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for IR cases.
• Monitor Employment Act 1955 compliance.
• Support HR policies review related to discipline and IR practices.
• Conduct training on disciplinary procedures and code of conduct.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Human Resources (Industrial Relations) to join our dynamic team at APM CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD in Port Klang, Selangor. As a full-time member of our Group Human Resources department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall industrial relations strategy, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies, and fostering a positive and productive workplace environment across the organisation.

Job Descriptions

• Manage end-to-end disciplinary process (show cause, investigation, domestic inquiries, decision)
• Conduct and coordinate Domestic Inquiries (DI) as panel/secretariat
• Draft disciplinary letters (warning, suspension, termination, etc.)
• Handle employee misconduct, absenteeism and performance-related IR issues
• Liaise with external authorities (JTK, Industrial Court, union where applicable)
• Represent company in JTK IR office for dispute resolution
• Handle employee grievances and conduct investigation
• Provide advisory to HOD/management on IR matters and legal compliance
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all IR cases
• Monitor compliance with Employment Act 1955 and other relevant laws

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Law or equivalent
• Minimum 4-6 years in HR, with strong exposure in Industrial Relations
• Strong knowledge of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
