Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior digital platforms leader to govern and optimize the company’s digital presence across the corporate website, social channels, WABA, and EDM campaigns.

You will coordinate campaigns, analytics, and stakeholder expectations to ensure consistent branding, timely content delivery, and performance-driven improvements across platforms in the Malaysia market.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance across Tractors Malaysia's digital platforms including website and social media assets.
• Approve website content updates, banners, forms; coordinate with internal IT and external developers.
• Direct monthly social media content planning across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Lead planning and coordination of digital marketing campaigns with aligned timelines and brand guidelines.
• Oversee paid advertisement strategy and performance with agencies and internal teams.
• Govern WhatsApp (WABA) and EDM content strategy, segmentation, and deployment timelines.
• Own analytics framework; consolidate data across platforms and present performance insights to management.
• Serve as primary digital stakeholder contact to business units, guiding digital processes and capabilities.

• 1. Digital Platforms' Governance & Oversight Provide overall ownership and governance of Tractors Malaysia's digital platforms, including corporate website, social media channels, WABA, EDM, and analytics tools. Define digital standards, workflows, timelines, and quality benchmarks across platforms. Ensure consistency in digital execution, messaging, and branding across all channels.
• 2. Website Management (Governance Level) Oversee the management and optimization of the Tractors Malaysia corporate website. Review and approve website content updates, campaign pages, banners, and forms prior to deployment. Coordinate with Sime Darby Group IT/Hastings Deering and external developers on website enhancements, performance optimization, and technical improvements. Monitor website performance trends and identify improvement opportunities based on analytics insights.
• 3. Social Media Management (Planning & Direction) Provide direction and approval for monthly social media content planning across all platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn. Review content themes, copywriting and visual alignment prior to publishing. Monitor social media performance trends and engagement patterns. Provide guidance on content optimization and platform prioritisation.
• 4. Digital Campaign Planning & Coordination Lead the planning and coordination of digital marketing campaigns across owned digital platforms. Align campaign timelines, content calendars, and delivery schedules with business units. Ensure campaigns are executed according to agreed objectives, timelines, and brand guidelines. Review campaign performance and recommend improvements.
• 5. Paid Advertisement Oversight Provide strategic direction and governance for paid advertisement activities across digital platforms. Review campaign objectives, targeting approach, and performance outcomes. Work with agencies and internal teams on optimisation direction and performance review.
• 6. WABA & EDM Governance Oversee content strategy and calendar planning for WhatsApp and EDM campaigns. Review messaging, segmentation approach, and deployment schedules. Monitor overall campaign performance and engagement trends.
• 7. Analytics, Reporting & Insights Own the digital analytics framework and reporting standards across all platforms. Consolidate performance data from website, social media, paid ads, WABA, and EDM. Analyse trends and provide insights to management and business units. Prepare and present regular performance reports.
• 8. Stakeholder Management & Coordination Act as the primary point of contact for digital-related matters with internal stakeholders. Coordinate requirements, expectations, and timelines with business units. Provide guidance and clarification on digital processes and capabilities.
