Job summary

VAD CAPITAL SDN BHD is seeking a skilled credit professional in Malaysia to process and decide on HP loan applications, review income documentation, and perform independent credit assessments. You will contribute to risk-based lending decisions and support various credit-related projects.

Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of credit decisioning experience; CCE certification is a plus, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, banking or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit decision-making or credit recommendation.
• CCE certification is an added advantage.
• Mature, analytical, and able to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process, evaluate, and recommend or approve HP loan applications in accordance with guidelines.
• Review and assess supporting income documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct independent credit reviews, including verification of personal and employment information.
• Perform thorough risk assessments and provide sound recommendations to support lending decisions.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and credit-related projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Banking, or any related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit decision-making or credit recommendation, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven track record in credit assessment and financial evaluation.
• CCE certification is an added advantage.
• Mature, analytical, and able to work independently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
