Job summary

AmBank Malaysia is seeking a Credit Processing Analyst to verify and process credit card and loan applications, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely decision support.

You will assess income documents, CCRIS/CTOS reports, and customer risk profiles; evaluate creditworthiness and recommend approvals or escalations; and help consistently hit daily KPIs while delivering reliable service in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in accounting, business admin, banking or related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in credit processing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of banking products and credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely turnaround of credit card and loan processing within agreed service standards.
• Maintain consistent quality service delivery within turnaround time (TAT).
• Process all applications in accordance with internal credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents as per the PO Checklist.
• Perform credit assessment by analysing income documents, CCRIS/CTOS reports and customer risk profile.
• Evaluate applicant creditworthiness and recommend approval, rejection or escalation based on delegated authority.
• Ensure daily KPI targets for application processing volume and turnaround time are met.

To process, verify and perform credit assessment of applications by evaluating customer creditworthiness in compliance with credit policies, ensuring accurate decision recommendations, effective risk control and timely turnaround to support quality credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer (Internal and/or External)
