Job summary

CVSKL - Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Procurement and Store Officer to source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage the procurement process while ensuring stock management and inventory control across hospital stores.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or SPM with 1–3 years in procurement, can communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and are proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of HIS and FIS is an added advantage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor development, maintenance, and implementation of hospital-wide procurement and store policies and SOPs for consumables, non-pharmaceutical items, and consignment inventory.
• Ensure purchase requests are reviewed, verified, sourced, and negotiated to achieve cost-effective procurement before LOA approval.
• Raise purchase orders for approved requests and main store consumables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with end users, vendors, and management to negotiate pricing adjustments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor deliveries and outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment and prevent stock shortages.

Job Summary

• Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing the procurement process.
• Ensure effective stock management and control to optimise inventory utilisation.
• Monitor main store and sub-store par levels to maintain adequate stock availability.
• Support cost-saving initiatives to achieve management targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the development, maintenance, and implementation of hospital-wide procurement and store policies, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs) relating to consumables, non-pharmaceutical items, and consignment inventory.
• Ensure purchase requests are properly reviewed, verified, sourced, and negotiated to achieve cost-effective procurement before submission for approval in accordance with the approved Limit of Authority (LOA).
• Ensure purchase orders for approved purchase requests and main store consumables are raised accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with end users, vendors, and management to negotiate pricing adjustments and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Monitor deliveries and outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment and prevent stock shortages.

Requirement

• Possess at least a Diploma in any field, or SPM with 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement and store management.
• Able to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in basic mathematics and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS) and Financial Information System (FIS) is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
