Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales, convention sales, events, or a similar role.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Proven ability to convert leads into confirmed business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Good understanding of the local language is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales management systems.
  • Familiarity with Delphi or similar hotel sales software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve group and event revenue targets.
  • Handle and convert incoming group and event leads into confirmed business.
  • Proactively generate new business through sales calls, telemarketing, networking, and client entertainment.
  • Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and client meetings.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned market segments.
  • Monitor account production and revenue performance to maximize business opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful event planning and execution.
  • Support hotel promotional campaigns, trade shows, and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, and revenue information in sales management systems.
  • Ensure timely response to all event inquiries, proposals, and customer requests.
  • Prepare group resumes, banquet event orders, and event-related documentation.
  • Attend internal and external meetings with clients and business partners.
  • Communicate high-profile events and important client visits to hotel management and operational departments.
  • Collect post-event feedback and evaluate event success for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, service quality, and business ethics.
  • Participate in training programs and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Description
