Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking an Engineering Technician to support design, test, modification, and assembly of electro‑mechanical systems, and to troubleshoot using schematics and test equipment.

You will perform fault isolation, work with development engineers on prototypes, and participate in system and component testing to remedy malfunctions.

The role offers On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex work models, requires shift work, strong English communication, and hands-on electronics experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with design, test, modification, and assembly of electro‑mechanical systems.
• Experience performing fault isolation and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics and test equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical subsystems and components.
• Inspect materials and measure circuitry with precision instruments.
• Collaborate with development engineers on prototypes and models.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation to remedy malfunctions.
• Utilize test programs, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic equipment.
