Job summary

SRX Global (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Engineer - Quality Systems to lead the Quality Assurance & Control team in Johor Bahru. You will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality systems to ensure our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of excellence.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of quality across the organisation, coordinating audits and CAPA processes with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management System or Quality Engineering.
• Practical experience implementing ISO13485, ISO14001, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 is strongly preferred.
• Experience with automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Experience in internal auditing, CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of PCBA and Box Build manufacturing processes and quality docs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System per ISO standards.
• Ensure QMS requirements are communicated across departments.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Manual, process docs, quality objectives and records.
• Coordinate internal audits and plan customer, certification and surveillance audits.
• Identify non-conformities, issue CAPA and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain audit records and prepare management-review reports.
• Prepare quality data and presentations for management reviews.

About the role

SRX Global (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Quality Systems to join our Quality Assurance & Control team. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality systems that ensure our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of excellence. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System in accordance withISO13485, ISO14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and applicable requirements.
• Ensure QMS requirements are effectively communicated and implemented across all relevant departments.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Manual, process documentation, quality objectives and relevant quality records.
• Ensure proper document control, revision control, retention and traceability of quality-related documents and records including customer specific requirements.
• Support the implementation and effective application of relevantAutomotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
• Ensure relevant Core Tools are incorporated into product and process quality planning.
• Coordinate and maintain risk-based thinking and process risk management throughout the organization.
• Lead and maintain the Internal Audit based on standard requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct internal system, manufacturing process and product audits.
• Coordinate and prepare the organization forcustomer audits, certification audits and surveillance audits.
• Identify non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvement.
• Issue audit findings and monitor corrective actions through effectiveCAPA processes.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain audit records and prepare audit reports for management review.
• Prepare quality-related data, reports and presentations for management review.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree inQuality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum5 years of relevant experiencein Quality Assurance, Quality Management System or Quality Engineering.
• Practical experience inISO13485, ISO14001, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001implementation is strongly preferred.
• Experience in preparing for or participating inIATF 16949 / ISO certification audits and customer audits.
• Knowledge of automotiveCore Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC).
• Experience in internal auditing, CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with PCBA and Box Build manufacturing processes, production quality control and process documentation.
• Strong understanding of document control and quality records management.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively with process owners.
