Job summary

SRX Global (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Engineer - Supplier Quality to drive supplier quality systems, perform audits, and lead improvement programs. You will liaise with suppliers, purchasing, engineering and operations to resolve nonconformities and ensure timely disposition of material, while maintaining calibration and inspection activities across the supply base.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5+ years in supplier quality, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Supplier Quality / Quality Engineering experience, preferably with technical or team leadership exposure.
• Strong experience with supplier audits and supplier improvement programs.
• Strong knowledge of PCB, plastic, metal and related supplier manufacturing processes.
• Lean / Six Sigma or Green Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend and resolve material quality related issues.
• Communicate with suppliers, purchasing, engineering and operations when nonconforming material is found.
• Ensure corrective action plans are documented from suppliers to address nonconforming material.
• Conduct MRB meetings to identify and quarantine nonconforming material.
• Conduct and report supplier performance evaluations, supplier audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure measuring instruments and Go/No Go gauges are calibrated.
• Ensure First Article Inspection and Receiving Inspection activities are performed timely.
• Train IQC inspectors to ensure proper Receiving Inspection and maintenance of quality records.
• Support customer audits and compliance including QMS, EMS, PPAP, product certification and related plans.
