Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, products, and production operations.
• Analyse production and technical problems and provide effective troubleshooting and corrective solutions.
• Review and improve production processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, review and maintain engineering documents, drawings, specifications, work instructions and process parameters.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), product development, product modification and process validation.
• Conduct technical investigations for product and process issues.
• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and quality control systems.
• Ensure products and manufacturing processes comply with customer specs and internal standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects, customer complaints and process non-conformities.
• Lead and follow up on CAPA actions.

We are seeking an experienced and technically competent Senior Engineer cum QA to oversee engineering activities while ensuring that products, processes, and manufacturing operations consistently meet company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role combines engineering, quality assurance, production support, process improvement, troubleshooting, and quality management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, QA/QC, R&D, Purchasing, and other departments to identify problems, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve product and process quality.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support engineering activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, products, and production operations

Analyse production and technical problems and provide effective troubleshooting and corrective solutions

About you

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, QA/QC or a related field

Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes

Good understanding of QA/QC principles and quality management systems

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards

Knowledge of problem-solving tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good leadership and communication skills
