Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an ERP / Smart Manufacturing Systems Engineer to develop, maintain, and support ERP and SCADA systems ensuring stable manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements for continuous improvement across ERP, SCADA, and related systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of ERP system experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Hands-on ERP and SCADA experience; VUE advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support ERP systems for manufacturing operations.
• Provide maintenance and support for Smart Manufacturing SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and business users to gather requirements.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Support integration between ERP, SCADA and other manufacturing systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and system specifications.
• Participate in upgrades, testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

Requirements

1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2. 3–5 years of experience in ERP system development, implementation, or support within the manufacturing industry.
3. 3. Hands-on experience with manufacturing ERP systems and digitalization projects.
4. 4. Knowledge or experience in SCADA systems and smart manufacturing environments, VUE is an advantage.
5. 5. Familiar with databases, system integration, and basic manufacturing processes.
6. 6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
