Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a software engineer to develop, maintain, and support ERP and manufacturing-related applications, ensuring stable and efficient business operations.

You will design front-end and back-end applications, APIs, and interfaces; provide maintenance for Smart Manufacturing and SCADA systems; collaborate with production, engineering and business users; develop system integrations; troubleshoot issues; and assist in upgrades, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack development, ERP application development, or manufacturing system development.
• Hands-on experience in front-end and back-end development, including web application development and API integration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with Vue.js.
• Experience with at least one backend language/framework such as C#, .NET, Java, Python or Node.js.
• Familiar with relational databases and SQL, system integration, RESTful APIs, and basic software development practices.
• Knowledge or experience in ERP, SCADA, Smart Manufacturing, MES, or manufacturing digitalization projects is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js. Experience with other frameworks is an advantage.


• Experience with at least one back-end programming language/framework, such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js.


• Familiar with relational databases and SQL, system integration, RESTful APIs, and basic software development practices.


• Knowledge or experience in ERP, SCADA, Smart Manufacturing, MES, or manufacturing digitalization projects is an advantage.


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
