Job summary

Wiwynn Technology Service Malaysia is seeking a qualified software engineer to develop and maintain internal systems, web apps, and automation tools. You will work with production and business teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions.

You will design, implement, test, and deploy automation scripts, while ensuring data integrity and security in SQL databases. Collaboration with TE, ME, QE, and other departments is essential for aligned, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software development, internal automation, or systems engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Python, C#, Java, .NET and SQL databases.
• Experience in system integration and automated testing (UAT, unit tests).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain internal software systems, web applications, and automation tools.
• Gather and document system requirements from stakeholders and translate into functional specs.
• Develop and deploy automation scripts to improve manufacturing process efficiency and data accuracy.
• Conduct system integration, unit testing, and UAT to ensure quality before deployment.
• Maintain and update existing systems, fix bugs, and apply patches.
• Review change requests (CR) and ensure proper documentation and version control.
• Collaborate with TE, ME, QE and other departments to implement integrated solutions.
• Write and maintain technical docs, SOPs, manuals, and development guidelines.
• Support database design, management, and optimization for data integrity and security.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing technical support.

Responsible to ensure the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internal systems, software tools, and automation solutions to support and enhance operational efficiency across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain internal software systems, web applications, and automation tools to support production and business operations
• Gather and document system requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional technical specifications and system design
• Develop and deploy automation scripts or solutions to improve manufacturing process efficiency, data collection, and reporting accuracy
• Conduct system integration, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software quality and reliability before deployment
• Maintain and enhance existing systems by identifying bugs, implementing fixes, and applying software updates or patches
• Review and manage system change requests (CR), ensuring proper documentation and version control are maintained
• Collaborate with TE, ME, QE, and other departments to develop integrated solutions that align with production and quality requirements
• Write and maintain technical documentation, system SOPs, user manuals, and development guidelines to ensure knowledge continuity
• Support database design, management, and optimization to ensure data integrity, availability, and security
• Train end-users and relevant department personnel on new systems or updated features, and provide ongoing technical support

About you

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
• 3 – 5 years of experience in software development, internal automation, or systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of software development (Python, C#, Java, .NET) and SQL database management
• Experience in system integration, automated testing (UAT, unit test), and version control (Git, CR)
• Familiarity with cross-functional manufacturing processes (TE, ME, QE) and technical documentation (SOPs, manuals)
