Job summary

B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead commissioning and technical implementation of MES process solutions, collaborating with the global template team, BMI team and Critical Manufacturing.

The role covers software testing strategy, test case creation, and test execution for MES templates, site customization projects, and MES deployments. You will validate requirements with various testing methods and present status to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• At least 3 years in MES development, testing and support.
• Strong hands-on skills in C#, Angular, MS SQL and low-code platforms.
• Proven software testing experience: manual and automated.
• Experience with SDLC using Azure DevOps and UIPath.

Responsibilities

• Commission and implement MES process solutions with global and local teams.
• Define and execute software testing strategy and test cases.
• Perform automated testing and tool selection.
• Validate requirements and oversee acceptance tests.
• Present test status to project and management.
• For more senior level, lead large-scale engineering projects.

Job description

Responsible for commissioning and technical implementation of process solutions in MES in collaboration with the Global template team, local B. Braun Medical Industries (BMI) team and the supplier Critical Manufacturing.

Responsible for software testing strategy, test case and test execution for MES template, site customization project and MES deployment project.

Responsible for software functionality automated test, including tool selection, automated test script development and implementation.

Assist in preparing and reviewing acceptance tests and help monitor technical setups during implementation and initial rollout.

Responsible for validating business requirements and software qualification through appropriate testing methods, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as applicable.

Preparation, presentation and explanation of the test status and development quality at project and management level

Work in the deployment project of the global MES team.- For more senior position level, manage all aspects of a large scale, complex, or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

Additional role for Senior Test Engineer, the position will participate in the software development cycle as software developer depending on the resource capabilities and capacity.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in MES system development, testing and support across multi tier architecture (UI, middleware, services, and database layers), with strong hands on skills in C#, Angular, MS SQL database development, and low code development platforms.

Proven experience in software testing fields, including manual test execution and automated test.

Hands on experience managing the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Azure DevOps and UIPath, including test plan, test case, test execution, automated test script.
