Typical responsibilities include feasibility studies, acceptance testing, and ensuring projects meet SOPs and global quality standards.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Implement the organization’s equipment machinery strategy by managing activities to solve problems and drive improvements.
• Handle project execution including process engineering tasks, focusing on investment and production costs.
• Drive projects and processes in line with SOPs and valid operating instructions.
• Manage equipment projects with expertise in production areas (assembly, packaging) and ensure compliance with global quality requirements.
• Develop project concepts and feasibility studies; verify technical criteria, conduct acceptance tests, monitor commissioning and relocation of equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D and other functions (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement) to improve quality and yield.
• Review technologies and manufacturing facilities for opportunities to streamline and optimize for quality and cost-effectiveness; mentor junior project managers.

Assistant Staff Engineer: Project Management (Automation & Equipment Design)

Implement the organization’s equipment machinery strategy by managing activities to solve problems; and improving by generating new equipment (idealization) and validating the equipment (conceptualization and implementation).

Responsible for timely and task-oriented processing of projects that encompass process engineering tasks, focusing on account investment and production costs. Drive projects and processes in accordance with the respective valid operating instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Manage equipment projects with specific expertise in specialized areas in production (e.g. assembly, packaging) or discrete productsand responsible for applying global quality requirements related to B. Braun's production sites worldwide.

Develop project concepts and feasibility studies on best practice for manufacturing. Verify technical compliance with acceptance criteria, conduct acceptance tests, and monitor the commissioning and relocation of equipment.

Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team in product development and design for manufacturability or work with other functional teams such as Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement etc. to improve quality and yield.

Review of technologies, processes, production facilities, and products regarding opportunities for streamlining and optimization with the goal of improving quality and cost-effectiveness. and support training of concepts and provide recommendations for developing junior project managers in the department.

What you will bring to the team:

At least 3 -6years of experience in project management in machine design / automation design or development for medical device engineering project and innovation.

Experiences in Implementing the organization’s equipment machinery strategy by managing activities to solve problems; and improved by generating new equipment (idealization) and validate the equipment (conceptualization and implementation).

Good communication skills and able collaborate with functional leaders and teams to ensure the project delivery within agreed budgets and timeline.

Experience in process improvements, automation technologies, knowledge in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing.
