Job summary

OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced IT Analyst on a contract basis in Petaling, Selangor. You will gather requirements, analyse processes, and translate needs into technical solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, designing solutions, collaborating with development teams, and validating systems to meet user needs. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of systems analysis and design methodologies (SDLC, Agile or Waterfall).
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation and specification writing tools.
• Experience with databases, data modelling and SQL is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of business process management and workflow optimisation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable components.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
• Experience with system testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Certification in CBAP, IIBA or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.

About the role We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD on a contract basis. What we're looking for
