Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in Malaysia seeks an on-site Field Service Technician to manage service operations and customer relations across the east coast region.

You will conduct maintenance visits, oversee elevator portfolios, and respond swiftly to breakdowns to ensure high first-time fix rates. With at least 2 years in the elevator sector and strong electrical engineering knowledge, you will operate safely, communicate clearly with customers, and work independently or with a team plus use digital

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety as a priority for all tasks.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and on-site teams.
• Comfortable working alone or in a team.
• Proficient with electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits within your territory.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators in your defined geographic area.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.
• Perform minor repairs to maintain operation.
• Liaise with customers on-site to build strong working relationships.
