Job summary

KONE Malaysia is seeking a Service Technician to join our Service Maintenance team in Georgetown. You will work in a small group of Field Service Specialists handling fault calls, repairs, and maintenance runs at customer sites, while ensuring safety and strong customer relationships.

Preferred candidates have at least 3 years’ experience in elevators/escalators, basic mechanical/electrical knowledge, and a service-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in elevator and escalator industry is an advantage.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
• Service mindset and customer-facing approach essential.
• Willingness to travel and operate at client sites.
• Own transport and valid motorbike license required.

Responsibilities

• Attend fault calls and perform elevator/escalator repairs and servicing.
• Complete maintenance runs and collaborate with other Field Service Specialists.
• Maintain accurate, real-time back reporting of work performed.
