Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation in Malaysia, Selangor, Petaling Jaya, seeks a service technician to manage elevator maintenance and service across a defined territory. You will conduct maintenance visits, manage lifecycles of units, and respond quickly to breakdowns to aim for first-time fixes.

Collaboration with customers on-site is essential for sustained reliability. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in the elevator sector, strong electrical skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in elevator sector with electrical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; capable of teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
