Job summary

Unigrà APAC seeks a Senior Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair plant machinery and utility systems across electrical, instrumentation and automation domains. This on-site role demands hands-on expertise and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

You will work with motors, control systems, PLCs, sensors and transmitters, document activities, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safety and reliability of critical processes in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Engineering.
• Experience in electrical/control systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with PLCs and sensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including motors, control systems, sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and electrical circuits.
• Diagnose electrical and instrumentation issues, analyze system problems, and identify faults using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Calibrate instrumentation devices to ensure accurate measurements and readings, following established standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and inspection reports; document changes or modifications.
• Respond to emergency situations to troubleshoot and rectify issues promptly.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
