Job summary

MVC Resources, Pasir Gudang, Johor, seeks a Senior Electrical Technician for its world-class manufacturing facility. You will perform hands-on maintenance across electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure maximum uptime of motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.

You will lead routine inspections, troubleshoot faults, support automation engineers, and mentor junior technicians while adhering to safety standards such as LOTO and PTW, with a focus on continuous plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
• Energy Commission PW2/PW4 or Chargeman certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance of motors, drives, sensors, PLCs.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance, logs in SAP/CMMS.
• Mentor junior technicians and uphold safety standards (LOTO/PTW).
