Job summary

PETRONAS in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Technician to support electrical equipment in our plant. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and participate in reactive repairs to keep motors, switchgear, MOVs and UPS running smoothly.

The role requires willingness to learn basic principles of electrical equipment operation and to work safely in a busy industrial environment in Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Familiarise with preventive maintenance (PPM) of plant electrical equipment (motors, switchgear, MOV, UPS).
• Familiarise with troubleshooting, rectification and reactive maintenance of plant electrical equipment (motors, switchgear, MOV, UPS).
• Familiarise with basic principles behind electrical equipment operation.
