Job summary
Masimo is seeking a Maintenance Technician at multiple levels (A–D) in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia. The role covers corrective and preventive maintenance, electrical work, and line design changes to minimize downtime and improve line efficiency.
Expect hands-on electronics repair, PLC troubleshooting, and involvement in tooling and automation improvements; strong teamwork and leadership are valued for high-impact projects.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and ability to interface across all levels of staff.
- Experience with maintenance tasks, TPM concepts, and upholding quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as requested by Maintenance Supervisor and complete work orders for corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Execute preventive maintenance on equipment according to maintenance schedules.
- Support production lines to maintain product quality and equipment working in good conditions.
- Installation and modification of manufacturing lines and basic electrical installations.
- Perform electronic equipment repairs, power supplies, and general electronics.
- Assist on design of new equipment and installation of electric control systems.
- Propose improvements for cost reduction and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot PLC and inkjet printers.
