Job summary

Star Media Group Berhad seeks a visionary Senior Manager, Product (Digital) to lead the development of next-generation digital platforms for a youth-focused audience. You will shape product strategy, drive execution, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver mobile-first experiences and high engagement.

You will own the product lifecycle end-to-end, leverage data analytics to optimize performance, and craft monetization models to achieve profitable growth across web and native apps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in digital product management, with significant exposure to senior leadership roles.
• Experience developing products within the digital media, content, or consumer technology space.
• Proven expertise delivering mobile-first products with a strong understanding of the youth demographic.
• Deep proficiency in data fluency and analytics, including defining KPIs and analyzing user behavior.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing).
• Direct experience launching or managing high-traffic web and native app products (iOS and Android) is preferred, with knowledge of subscription/ad-tech monetization models.

Responsibilities

• Define, champion, and translate the long-term product vision and strategic roadmap into actionable plans.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating with Engineering, UX/UI Design, and Content teams.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and translate insights into product directions.
• Develop monetization strategies and business cases to ensure profitability and growth.
• Oversee product launches with cross-functional GTM strategies involving Marketing, Sales, and Editorial.
• Own KPIs, drive data-driven optimization, and report performance to stakeholders.
