Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the implementation, deployment and operation of secure, scalable application environments. You will collaborate with developers, infrastructure, data, AI/ML and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments and IaC.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform and Ansible, plus strong Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience.
• CI/CD implementation and administration across multiple environments.
• Experience with containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Good knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for IaC, and deploying web apps and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release management.
• Automate build, test, deployment and release processes across environments.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage Git repositories, version control, branching and releases.
• Configure DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Support deployment of web apps, APIs, microservices, databases, data analytics and AI/ML services.
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor application health, performance, availability and resource utilisation.
