Job summary

ADI Resourcing seeks a Senior System Engineer (DevOps) in Kuala Lumpur to lead the administration of Windows and Linux environments, optimize deployment pipelines, and drive reliability and performance improvements. You will work across development, staging, and production, with a focus on automation, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/EE or related field with strong academics.
• 5+ years in administering Windows and Linux (VMware/virtualization and cloud like AWS/Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage dev, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with the team to address scaling, testing, and performance issues; ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Provide daily operational support and participate in project implementations (travel may be required).
• Maintain and enhance existing system architecture; prepare technical documentation.
• Research and implement solutions to improve system reliability, availability, and service standards.
• Automate processes for testing, deployment, and configuration to streamline systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Explore new technologies to improve efficiency and service standards.
