Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage Linux servers in a hybrid work setting. The role involves container orchestration, IaC, and strong collaboration with development teams to ensure secure, reliable releases.

The candidate will have 3–7 years in DevOps or Linux operations, experience with Docker, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), plus scripting skills in Bash or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of DevOps, SRE, or Linux operations experience.
• Hands-on Linux system administration experience (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on cloud experience on AWS or Azure.
• Strong scripting skills with Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is preferred.
• Nice-to-have Kubernetes in production and Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application releases.
• Administer and secure Linux servers in production and staging environments.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and orchestration tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Infrastructure as Code).
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.
• Collaborate with developers on deployment standards, security, and release quality.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, cost efficiency, and operational processes.
