Job summary

Xplor Technologies is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Malaysia to own cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and security across our stack. You will design scalable systems on AWS, implement IaC with Terraform, and mentor junior engineers while enabling faster, safer deployments.

The role emphasizes incident response, CI/CD improvements, and collaboration with security teams to uphold best practices in a high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related IT field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar DevOps environment.
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure management (preferably AWS).
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Understanding of internetworking concepts and protocols.
• Linux administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep the lights on by implementing and maintaining monitoring and observability; respond to incidents promptly.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and related tooling; design scalable, resilient systems.
• Coach and mentor junior developers on DevOps practices and continuous learning.
• Implement security across the stack and collaborate with security teams to address concerns.
• Enhance developer experience by improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
