Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Malaysia team. You will design and run CI/CD pipelines, build scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP, and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.

You will work closely with development, QA and operations to ensure secure, reliable deployments. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in DevOps, strong Linux skills, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong Linux system administration knowledge.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate provisioning using IaC (Terraform, Ansible).

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with software development teams to improve deployment processes and release management.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of networking, security, DNS, SSL, and load balancing.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) are an advantage.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
