Job summary

StarHub seeks a DevOps Engineer to maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and automate deployments with Jenkins. You will enable efficient CI/CD workflows and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, contributing to reliability and rapid incident response.

Collaborate with software, cloud/platform, QA, and security teams to enhance automation, security, and continuous delivery practices while optimizing system performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS).
• Strong experience in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, and version control systems (Git).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of system administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience in scripting or programming (Python, Bash).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.

• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (e.g., EKS).
