Job Description

• DevOps and Software Integration Engineer is responsible for the provision of defined SW products and for the verification of their scope and quality.
• The DevOps and Software Integration Engineer is responsible for reliable archiving and administration of all configuration items of the SW project.
• The DevOps and Software Integration Engineer ensures that the procedures, methods, and tools used in the project are in line with the strategic targets of the business unit for SW configuration management.
• Strive for continuous improvement, build and maintain the Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing pipelines (CI/CT Pipeline).
• Align with software project managers on software release planning to customer, system test and production.
• Adhere to Bosch Software Engineering Processes.
• Involve in development of Build‑System/Tooling, automation/infrastructure as well as release management using both standard and proprietary software tools and libraries.
• Participate in joint integration activities in connection with the DevOps pipeline with Customer, their suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Proven working experience in DevOps, software integration, and software configuration management.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts.
• Hands‑on experience in automating testing and deployment pipelines.
• Practical experience using CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, or Rational Team Concert.
• Experience with source code management (SCM) tools including Git, ClearCase, or similar systems.
• Strong core operating system knowledge in Linux and Windows, covering services management, user and permission control, file systems and storage, networking, and performance troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of containerization and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in scripting and automation, using one or more of the following: Linux shell scripting, Python, Perl, Windows batch scripting, PowerShell, VB Script.
• Good understanding of software engineering methodologies and processes, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SCRUM, or Automotive SPICE.
• Knowledge of C/C++ or Java programming languages is an added advantage.
• Experience in embedded software development is an added advantage.
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux server administration is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud services and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is an added advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.
• Ability to work effectively in a global and cross‑functional team.
• Willingness to be based at Bayan Lepas Phase 1.
