Job summary

Maybank in Kuala Lumpur seeks an IT professional to manage, implement, support and maintain Back Office systems and their interfaces aligned with the bank's strategic initiatives. You will actively contribute to project deliverables and ensure systems operate effectively for internal and external users.

In this role you will support IT daily operations, maintain 99.9% system availability, and coordinate with teams, end users, project members and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related work experience, especially AS400 and stockbroking.
• Strong background in AS400 and stockbroking business.
• Knowledge of RPG, SQLRPG, WRKQRY, Java, Linux, WebSphere and Windows server is an advantage.
• Able to handle back office application support and user administration.
• Demonstrates accountability and initiative with minimal supervision.
• Able to interact with operations, business users, project teams and vendors.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage, implement, support and maintain Maybank IB back office systems and interfaces.
• Support IT daily operations and ensure system availability per SLA.
• Coordinate documentation, communication and project deliverables with teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and annual / half-year exercises.
• Work with outsource vendors to deliver IT services to the business.
