Job summary

You will oversee setup, maintenance, upgrades, capacity planning, and documentation, lead a small team, and collaborate with other infra groups to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hands-on AS400 administration.
• Strong knowledge of AS400 architecture, CL programming, system commands and tuning.
• Experience with infrastructure tools listed above is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AS400 system setup, configuration, maintenance and optimization.
• Monitor and tune OS and online applications for performance.
• Conduct capacity planning and manage storage resources.
• Review and perform periodic maintenance of hardware and software.
• Lead a small team and mentor staff; collaborate with infra teams.
• Support related systems: Mimix, Connect:Direct, Control-M, Aldon, Thenon, Report2Web.
