Bangkok Bank Berhad, Kuala Lumpur Branch, is seeking a Banking System Administrator and Support to design, deploy, and maintain the AS400 Core Banking System and its security components. You will support day-to-day operations, perform backups, upgrades, and monitor performance to ensure reliability.

The role covers real-time payment operations, API gateway, database interfaces with the Core Banking System, and coordination with audit, regulatory teams, and external vendors.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or IT required.
• Willingness to work onsite and support shift-based operations.
• IBM Certified System Administrator or IBM Certified Advanced System Operator is a plus.
• 2-3 years of AS400 system administration experience with Equation systems is preferred.
• Hands-on AS400 and Real-time Payment Platform experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, deploy, maintain and enhance the AS400 Core Banking System and security capabilities.
• Support day-to-day AS400 Core Banking System operations including maintenance, upgrades, backups and restoration.
• Support Real-Time payment operations, API gateway and database interfaces with the Core Banking System and liaise with eBanking.
• Own and maintain AS400 system architecture, applications, jobs, objects, and access control.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement improvements for the AS400 Core Banking System.
• Provide production support and monitoring to ensure availability and performance per bank requirements.
• Coordinate DRP/BCP testing and audit responses.
• Liaise with Core Banking System and Real-time Payment Platform vendors and Bank support teams for issue resolution.
