Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Application/Production Support consultant to join a technology centre for a leading bank. You will provide L3 support for ATM Host and Statements applications, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and assist with deployments and releases using ALDON.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Application Support or Production Support.
• Strong experience in AS400 platform.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with RPG.
• Experience with DB2 database.
• Experience supporting ATM Host and Statements applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ATM transaction processing systems.
• Experience with ALDON deployment tool.
• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for ATM Host & Statements applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and application issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Support ATM transaction processing and statement generation systems.
• Monitor application health and ensure system availability and stability; collaborate with teams for issue resolution.
• Support application deployments and releases using ALDON.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Perform impact analysis and support production releases.
• Support testing activities and production validation after deployments.
• Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service level agreements.
